Ascend ABA Support

Welcome to Ascend ABA Support

Guiding Every Child to New Heights

Our role isn’t to take over the journey—it’s to walk alongside you, offering a supportive hand as your child begins to Ascend.

What exactly is ABA therapy, and how does it work?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of learning and behavior. At Ascend ABA Support, we use this science to break down complex skills—like communicating a need or following a routine—into small, achievable steps. We use positive reinforcement (celebrating successes with things your child loves) to make learning feel like a natural part of play.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many hours of therapy will my child need?

There is no “one-size-fits-all” answer because every child’s path is unique. After our initial assessment, your BCBA will recommend a schedule based on your child’s goals and what is sustainable for your family. Whether it’s 10 hours or 30 hours a week, our focus is always on quality and connection over just hitting a number.

We meet your child where they are most comfortable. In-home therapy allows us to work on daily routines like mealtime or play in a natural environment. Some families also benefit from community-based sessions at the park or grocery store to help skills grow beyond the front door and we also offer center-based therapy.

You are the heart of the team. While our therapists provide direct support, we empower you through collaborative coaching. We’ll share strategies you can use during everyday moments so that you feel confident guiding your child to new heights long after our session ends.

Every child’s “ascent” happens at its own pace. While some families notice small shifts in communication or mood within the first few weeks, significant growth is a journey that unfolds over months. We use clear, transparent data to track every small victory so you can see the progress for yourself.

Getting Started is Simple

At Ascend ABA Support, we believe the transition into ABA therapy should be as natural and stress-free as the therapy itself. To help your child begin their journey, we have outlined the professional and clinical steps required to secure support and begin guiding your child to new heights.

Step 1:

Secure a Formal Diagnosis

To access ABA services through insurance, a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from a licensed professional (such as a Pediatric Neurologist, Developmental Pediatrician, or Psychologist) is required.

Step 2:

Initial Consultation

Reach out to our team for a discovery call. We’ll discuss your child’s unique strengths, your family’s goals, and how the Ascend philosophy aligns with your vision for your child’s development.

Step 3:

Insurance Verification

Our intake specialists will work with you to verify your ABA benefits, helping you understand your coverage, co-pays, and any authorizations needed to move forward.
